World of Sports (M) Sdn Bhd, a leading retailer of sporting and active lifestyle chain stores in the region will be officially opening its multi-brand store World of Outdoor to cater to the ever-increasing number of adventurous outdoors enthusiasts in Malaysia at The Gardens, Mid Valley City on Oct 15.
Jonathan Wyatt, 7-time WMRA World Mountain Running Champion and sports celebrity, who is on a promotional tour for the company will be officially opening the flagship store World of Outdoor, and launching the Salomon X-Trail Run. He will also conduct a running clinic, sponsored by brand Salomon, at Lembah Kiara, Taman Tun Dr Ismail, KL at 4.30 pm the same day.
The "Outdoors" concept store is unique as these are the only stores in Malaysia and Singapore that provide the varied range of internationally renowned brands of outdoor footwear, apparel, backpack and accessories merchandise mix of brands, dedicated to hiking, climbing, trekking, camping, bicycling, canoeing, kayaking, outdoor travel and lifestyle for men and women.

Jonathan Wyatt, 7-time WMRA World Mountain Running Champion and sports celebrity, who is on a promotional tour for Salomon will be conducting a coaching clinic and running demonstration at Lembah Kiara, Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Kuala Lumpur on October 15.
Earlier in the day, he will be will be officially opening the World of Outdoor, a sports multi-brand concept store under the World of Sports (M) Sdn Bhd, a leading retailer of sporting and active lifestyle chain stores in the region, at The Gardens, Mid Valley City.
A Kiwi athlete, Jonathan is considered the world’s best mountain runner and has seven championship titles to prove it. The events organized by the World Mountain Running Association are recognized by the International Association of Athletic Federation. His personal best for half marathon timing is 1:02:37 and full marathon at 2:13:00. He also took part in the 5,000m race, clocking 13:27 and representing his native country at the Commonwealth Games in 1995 (sixth) and at the Atlanta Olympics in 1996 (16th).
Jonathan Wyatt will be offering tips and sharing his views on running on sand, gravel, grass, and mountains and adventure trails with Malaysian athletes and hard core runners at the Salomon X-Trial Run which is scheduled at Lembah Kiara on Dec 6.
