The River Kwai Trophy 2010, Thailand


The 5th edition of this highly popular race is supported by the Tourism Authority of Thailand and the Kanchanaburi province. This Race is by far the largest and most exciting Adventure Race in Thailand. Created to promote and expose the beauty of Thailand, the event will also raise funds for the Elephant Conservation Network of Kanchanaburi (http://www.ecn-thailand.org). Scheduled on March 6th and part of the Amazing Thailand Adventure Race Series, the race will start and finish at the world-renowned River Kwai Bridge. The competitors will hike and run through unspoiled jungle, paddle and swim in the Kwai River and cycle over the hills and farmlands of western Thailand.
New Course for 2010! Combines a challenging 1 day race with the magnificent beauty of the river Kwai valley. Disciplines include biking, running, swimming and kayaking.
The race route travels along scenic trails and explore the mountains and farmlands of western Thailand.
