Maraton Costa Daurada, Port Avendura, Spain 2010

This event was on 14 Nov, organised by RunnersWord Costa Daurada, Port Aventura Spain, 110km from Barcelona. During summer, as it has a long stretch of beaches and Universal Studio, it is a popular crowded vacation location. Unfortunately November is winter season, not many tourists can be seen and the town was quiet as many shops, hotels and apartments has been closed.

This was the 1st year they organised the run, only 42km and 10km. It was a 2 loops course, flat and straight like no ending to challenge your mental. Cheering from volunteers and spectators along the road has motivated runners to continue. Goodies provided are a bottle of olive oil, a bottle of wine, a cotton t-shirt, a sling bag and runnersworld magazine but is in spanish. After run, free energy drink, donut, fruit and massage were provided. No power gel  was provided during running.

Timing is 3:17:47, unable to achive better timing than the previous week in Porto Marathon.

The following week would be another marathon at home, Penang Bridge.
