Fist time, Menara KL organised the Towerthon at night. About 3500 participants joined in this exciting event. There are totally 12 waves to be flag-off where the 1st wave started at 8am with interval 15 min between each wave. The last wave started at 10:45pm. This is to avoid human jam inside the tower, but unfortunately the jammed is unavoidable due to limited lift.
Last year the medal quality and design was superb, many runners looking forward for a better medal this year, but seems that the hope has to be carried forward to next year. But somehow the quality, color and design of the t-shirt has improved much. The organised also allowed runners to exchange t-shirt size on the event day.
Podium winners were enthusiastic waiting for the prizes presentation ceremory which started after midnight as most of them were excited for the next grand event on 8 May, 7:30am - Larian Bomba 2011
