Distance: 3km, 7km and 21km
More than 5,500 runners signed up for this event and mostly are for 7km. This year 21km was flag-off as early as 5:30 am, 1 hour earlier than last year. However most runners are preferred to start earlier to avoid getting sun burn especially for those who arrived within 2 - 2.5 hours.
This event was more like running cum carnival event, where many games, dances, goodies, food were prepared for runners. Apart from the cash prizes, trophies and medals, runners and winners also stand to take home attractive lucky draw prizes, among them are holiday vouchers, YES Eclipse smartphone, 42" LED TV, 3D/2N Pangkor Laut Holiday, plus cash prizes worth RM6000.
This year, the first 800 participants that signed up for the run received free invitation to the exclusive screening of Hotel Transylvania that will be previewing on 20 - 21 Oct 2012 at GSC Berjaya Time Square.
The prize presentation for top 5 winners was carried out on 8:30 am and it was smooth and efficient. Thanks to all volunteers, marshalls, polices, technical advisers and other for putting effort to organize such a great event. Many runners are looking forward for PJ Half Marathon 2013.
