This year, Teva not only expanded the water-related line but have introduced new bike-inspired fits for the most hardcore free riders and casual pedal pushers. From top performing high tops and new color ways to an expanded size range, Teva’s new bike collection has something for everyone.

With soles that integrate with your pedal and mud-repelling materials, Teva mountain bike shoes were made for these sport. Built in collaboration with professional free ride athletes, these mountain bike shoes will take you on the toughest trails and to the most epic tailgates.

“Working with Teva to create a bike specific product line has been an incredible experience, the product development team at Teva has done a great job taking my knowledge gained as a professional rider and translating it into products all types of riders can appreciate. The new shoe The Links was designed in collaboration with professional mountain biker Jeff Lenosky, and is a purpose-built flat soled free ride shoe. The Links shoe features a PedalLINK outsole that’s specially designed to interface with a flat pedal. The tread is made from Teva's proprietary Spider365 sticky rubber. An aggressive pattern on the toe and heel offer traction off the bike. The shoe also has flexible armor in key wear areas and uses ‘ion-mask’ technology to provide water resistance. A Shoc-Pad in the heel provides critical cushioning and the ‘Mush’ infused insole adds comfort.

ion-mask,™ technology by P2i, the world leader in liquid repellent nano-coating technology, falls into the category of what we call "magic tech." Imagine a process that allows you to make an object water repellent on a nanoscale, meaning that its very fibers repel water. It sounds like sci-fi, but that’s what ion-mask™ does to our shoes.

Now we're not necessarily splicing Mush® genes back in the T.I.D.E Lab to build a hybrid mutant insole, but we do have an insole that’s worthy of the Mush name.

You wouldn't ride a bike without a seat. The same logic applies for our Shoc Pad™ technology, which will give you a smooth ride without inhibiting your performance.

One rubber, huge range of uses. Spider365 Rubber is the spork of our rubber arsenal.

Slipping off your pedal can be painful … and really, really awkward. To prevent that, we worked with our team of professional freeride bikers to develop the PedalLINK outsole. It was designed to link up with the pegs of your pedal to keep your foot in place and in control. On top of that, it's got lugs at the toe and heel to help you get around when you're off your bike.

 “ I have been using these shoes for almost two months and I'm impressed with the performance of this shoe, especially in the wet condition. The first time I used this shoe was for a competition titled Chiang Mai Downhill Challenge, the terrain was very dry so I didn't really get to test the capability of the shoe. However, due to the design of the outer sole, cycling off road came to be no issue at all. The next race was in Bandung, Indonesia for the Asia Pacific Downhill Challenge, the track was on a dormant volcano so the earth I was riding on consisted of very fine soil. Fortunately, it was raining the whole weekend and I finally got to test these shoes in the wet. The shoes managed to keep my feet dry during the competition by giving comfort and stability even though in was raining.
