SCKLM 2013 - Running Clinics

The Standard Chartered KL Marathon 2013 is organising a total of 14 ‘Zero to Hero’ training circuits from March to June, conducted by Mark Williams, the official running coach of the Standard Chartered KL Marathon 2013. ‘Zero to Hero’ training circuits aim to help runners prepare themsleves for the Full Marathon, Honda Half Marathon, and the 10km categories. The first training circuit will take place on 10 March and the final training circuit will be on 9 June 2013.

Each session includes a short briefing on a selected topic followed by supervised runs for a pre-determined length of time. Participants will gain useful information such as weekly training management, nutrition and hydration, stretching techniques, and injury prevention.

In addition to the 10 regular training circuit sessions, this year the Standard Chartered KL Marathon will include four (4) specialised training sessions, which are ‘Hill Repetitions’, ‘Acceleration Run’, ‘Fartlek Run’ and ‘Interval Runs’ held on selected Wednesday evenings.

Admission for the running circuit is free but places are limited. Runners who are interested to participate may register online. Registration will be open in stages.. Details here
